Description of School
The Shirley Primary School Board of Trustees have worked hard to ensure the school is a positive, welcoming, safe and well-resourced physical environment. We have 11 fully refurbished permanent classrooms. Each classroom is well-equipped with teaching and learning resources, has an activboard with projector, computers, matching furniture, floor to ceiling pinboard and a heat pump. Our facilities include a hall, and a well resourced and refurbished library. In the summer, children can enjoy lunch and play in our newly landscaped area. Recently, shade sails were placed in this area to keep children safe in the sun. The children learn to swim in our own school swimming pool. Our park like grounds boast big playing fields, a sand pit, an all weather cricket pitch and a junior friendly playground.

We enjoy working with our small school community to support our children in reaching for the stars.
